Daniel Birmingham is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group and Securities Enforcement and Litigation Team in the firm’s San Diego (Del Mar) office.
Areas of Practice
Daniel represents both plaintiffs and defendants in business and corporate litigation, handling matters in state and federal courts as well as arbitration. His experience includes cases involving shareholder derivative actions, fraud, breach of contract, trade secrets, and California LLC dissenters’ rights. Daniel’s practice spans multiple sectors, such as banking, energy, and real estate.
Daniel attended law school on the Dean’s Honor Scholarship and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards (highest grade) in Securities Regulation, Biotechnology Law, Advanced Legal Research, and Constitutional Separation of Powers. The San Diego Law Review published his comment on class actions and he was a finalist in the McLennon Honors Moot Court Competition. During law school, Daniel was a member of the Louis M. Welsh Inn of Court and the J. Clifford Wallace Inn of Court in San Diego.
Before his legal career, Daniel worked as a producer at a Los Angeles agency specializing in movie trailers and TV spots for major film studios, and also served as an advertising project manager for a satellite television corporation.
