An Inter Partes Review (IPR) is a procedure for challenging the validity of a United States patent before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  IPRs have become a major part of the strategy for defending against patent litigation and licensing disputes since the USPTO created the procedure in 2012.

This seminar will discuss the key elements to successful IPR petitions.  Participants will learn the importance of finding high quality prior art, the risks of challenging with dependent claims, the importance of avoiding procedural traps, and more.  Please join us for this content rich seminar.

Sheppard Mullin was named best performing law firm representing petitioners in the annual 2020 Patexia IPR Intelligence Report.   Sheppard Mullin was also ranked 4th best performing firm overall, representing petitioners and patent owners.  In addition, Sheppard Mullin had 6 of the top 100 best performing attorneys representing petitioners.

This webinar is prepared for Japanese companies and Japanese subtitles will be provided for the English part of the presentation.
