Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Essentials
This course provides introductory-level instruction on recognizing, marking, and appropriately handling CUI. Participants will learn how to identify CUI and implement proper protocols for sharing, destroying, decontrolling, aggregating, and disseminating information. The course will also discuss unique considerations when handling CUI, including interactions with various types of entities and steps to take in the face of a potential incident. Further, the course will review essential contractual provisions that govern the management and protection of CUI.
