Please join us for a presentation by James Zimmerman, the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China and Partner at Sheppard Mullin. Mr. Zimmerman, who has lived and worked in Beijing for 17 years, will talk about the current business climate in China and the trends and challenges confronting American companies in the market. He will also discuss AmCham’s recently published Business Climate Survey of foreign companies in China, including the issues most important to the business community.

About James Zimmerman: Mr. Zimmerman is the 2015 Chairman of AmCham China, and previously served as chairman in 2007 and 2008. He is also the managing partner of the Beijing office of the international law firm of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton, LLP. He has been a registered foreign lawyer with the Ministry of Justice since 1998 and represents foreign companies in their transactional and litigation matters in China.
