Francesca Witcher is an associate in the Tax, Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group in the firm's New York office.
Areas of Practice
Francesca’s practice focuses on advising clients on federal income taxation matters with an emphasis on renewable energy tax, project finance and partnership taxation. She supports the practice on matters related to section 45 production tax credits, section 48 investment tax credits and other tax credit incentives, including transactions involving tax-equity partnerships and lease financings. She also advises clients on recent statutory and regulatory changes to the tax code (i.e., Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, Pillar 2, Inflation Reduction Act, etc.).
Prior to joining the firm, Francesca worked at Big4 public accounting providing tax consulting advice on M&A transactions related to federal and international tax matters.
Francesca is an active member in national and local bar associations which includes her service as a board member to the Metropolitan Black Bar Association (MBBA).
