John Herbstritt is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm’s Century City office.
Areas of Practice
John regularly advises clients in a wide variety of corporate matters, including due diligence with respect to a variety of corporate transactions, buy and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, entity formation, reorganization, and other general corporate matters. His clients span an array of industries, including entertainment, media, technology, hospitality, and healthcare.
John also serves as a member of the firm’s Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) Task Force, advising clients with all aspects of CTA reporting and analysis.
Professional and Educational Background
John graduated magna cum laude from the University of California School of Law, San Francisco, where he focused on Corporate Law, and won an award for Top Negotiator at the 2023 International Academy of Dispute Resolution Competition. Before attending law school, he trained as a sommelier, worked in Michelin star restaurants, and traveled extensively to top wine regions in Europe and the U.S. to hone his craft.
