Our San Francisco Labor & Employment team continues to grow!  We are looking for a senior associate with 5-7 years' experience in labor and employment, with a significant emphasis on litigation.  Experience with wage and hour class and PAGA actions is a plus.  Ideal candidates will have strong litigation skills, including writing and arguing motions, and complex fact investigation and analysis.  If you have taken and defended depositions that is a plus and you can expect to get more of that experience working on this team.  A strong academic background is a minimum requirement: candidates must have high grades from a nationally ranked law school and already be admitted in California.

With more than 130 attorneys in the L&E group firmwide, Sheppard Mullin has one of the largest and most prestigious labor and employment practices in the country.  We are the go-to firm for complex and high stakes litigation, and are at the cutting edge of class action and PAGA defense.  Our attorneys advise employers of all sizes – ranging from Fortune 100 companies to privately-owned entities and business start-ups – in all aspects of employment counseling and litigation, and regularly appear before state and federal courts and all level of appellate courts.

Qualified applicants should send their resume, law school transcript and writing sample with a cover letter to Candace Sundine (CSundine@sheppardmullin.com).  Please start your Subject Line with "SF Labor Associate Opening."  Legal search firms should confirm that they have signed Sheppard Mullin's fee agreement before submitting candidates, and should use the same subject line as noted above.
