Kendra Leghart is special counsel in the Real Estate, Energy, Land Use & Environmental Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.

Areas of Practice

Kendra has extensive experience representing public and private entities in complex real estate and financing transactions. Kendra advises real estate owners, developers, and investors on complex transactions throughout the United States, handling the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing and development of real estate assets. Her transactional real estate practice spans asset classes and industries and she has substantial experience representing national health systems and other healthcare industry participants in positioning their real estate assets in a manner that complements their core business goals. In addition to counseling clients in the negotiation and documentation of real estate transactions, Kendra also takes a proactive approach to navigating lease and other real property disputes.

Kendra also provides disclosure and due diligence counsel to cities, counties and other local governments, state agencies, airports, water districts, and other special districts in connection with infrastructure financings and related projects. Kendra has represented clients in a wide range of public finance transactions, including tax-exempt and taxable, fixed and variable rate, forward delivery, and general obligation and revenue bonds.

Previously, Kendra was a transactional associate in the Los Angeles office of an AmLaw 100 law firm with a nationally-recognized healthcare and real estate practice.

Kendra is committed to understanding the industry in which clients operate and focuses on building and maintaining quality relationships with colleagues and clients in order to better understand their needs and project what issues their businesses might encounter in the future.
