Michelle Garabetian is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.
Areas of Practice
Michelle is actively involved in the firm's Food and Beverage Industry Team, where she is gaining experience focused on complex consumer class actions and helping represent clients across a broad range of industries, including retail, food and beverage, and technology. Her work includes handling cases alleging false advertising, unfair competition, and violations of California’s consumer protection laws. Additionally, Michelle is involved in Proposition 65 warning cases, further expanding her understanding in regulatory compliance matters.
Michelle has a strong understanding of civil procedure at the federal level, developed through her judicial externship with the Honorable Autumn D. Spaeth. An accomplished public speaker, she had the honor of serving as the commencement speaker for both her undergraduate commencement at UCLA and Loyola Law School's commencement. Michelle was also a competitor on her law school’s trial advocacy team for two consecutive years, gaining skills and expertise in the courtroom as she traveled to multiple states to compete in various tournaments.
During her time at Loyola Law School, she also volunteered with her law school’s Genocide Justice Clinic and remains committed to broadening her pro bono efforts. Currently, Michelle works on pro bono cases focused on assisting individuals in obtaining asylum due to persecution, as well as cases focused on real estate disputes.
