Matt McCalip is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in the firm's Dallas office. He is also a member of the firm’s Healthcare Team.

Areas of Practice

Matt focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and partnerships and corporate restructurings, as well as daily corporate governance and counsel. He represents clients in transactions both large and small and at all stages of development, ranging from startup companies in their infancy to complex billion-dollar acquisitions.

Matt is particularly experienced in advising clients and executing deals in the healthcare, private equity, technology, manufacturing, retail and entertainment/media industries. With regard to the healthcare industry, he often advises national and regional healthcare organizations and investors, including hospitals, physician groups, physician practices, urgent care and free-standing emergency room facilities, home health and hospice providers, management service organizations, dental service organizations, revenue cycle management companies and other types of healthcare providers.
