Areas of Practice
Megan focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes in both federal and state court, with an emphasis on healthcare litigation. In particular, Megan represents health plans and insurers in a variety of high-exposure coverage disputes, including in suits regarding the reasonable and customary value of medical services. In addition, Megan has represented health plans and insurers in numerous matters relating to state prohibitions on balance billing. Megan has broad commercial litigation experience, including in motion practice, written discovery, depositions, trial, and post-trial motions.
Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Megan was an associate at a global law firm in Chicago where she represented multinational corporations in international litigation and arbitration matters. She is licensed in both California and Illinois.
