Maria guides startups and private companies through every stage of their life cycle – from formation and early financings to growth, restructuring and strategic exits (e.g., mergers and acquisitions). She routinely manages organizational matters, oversees diligence and corporate audits, facilitates equity and debt financings, and leads coordination on exit plans. She represents venture capital firms throughout the investment cycle - negotiating term sheets, ensuring investment rights are properly aligned with value, reviewing diligence findings, and following up on any post-closing matters as needed. She also has significant cross-border experience, collaborating with counterparts in Europe and other regions to facilitate international transactions.
Maria’s practice spans a broad range of industries, including technology (SaaS and fintech), consumer, food and beverage, energy and entertainment.
