Oluwatamilore ‘Tami’ Fashina is an attorney in the Entertainment, Technology and Advertising Practice Group in the firm’s Century City office.

Areas of Practice

Tami’s practice focuses on production-side entertainment transactions related to scripted and unscripted television and films matters.

Tami received his LL.B. from the University of Kent, U.K., and subsequently received his J.D. from the University of California Los Angeles where he specialized in Media, Entertainment, Technology and Sports Law and Policy. He has authored publications including, “Doping in Esports: How and to What Extent Can We Look to WADA for Guidance?” The Sports Lawyers Journal 2021, Volume 28, and “…How and to What Extent Can Social Movement Groups Use the Law to Affect Legal Reform and Contribute to Social Change?” The Bristol Law Review 2019, 6th Edition.

Prior to joining Sheppard Mullin, Tami was a talent attorney where he represented high level actors, writers and producers in transactional development and production deals in the film and television industry.

Hailing from Nigeria and South Africa, Tami has interests in all things African. In his spare time, he can be found playing, and hopefully winning at, soccer, field hockey and tennis, while patiently waiting for Arsenal to become Premier League champions once again.
