Sheppard Mullin Silicon Valley Office Expands To New Palo Alto Location
This week the Silicon Valley office of Global 100 law firm Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is moving from Menlo Park to downtown Palo Alto. The new office will be located for one year at 390 Lytton Avenue and in 2011 the office will move to its permanent home across the street at 379 Lytton Avenue.
"In response to our clients' needs as well as the continued addition of top-quality lawyers to our team, we have outgrown our current location," said Marc A. Sockol, managing partner of the Silicon Valley office. "Now with a larger facility in downtown Palo Alto, we have the offices necessary to expand to 50 or 60 attorneys, where we plan to be in the next four to five years."
Sheppard Mullin’s Silicon Valley office opened in 2008, has grown to 14 attorneys, and specializes in corporate, intellectual property, and litigation. Downtown Palo Alto puts the firm within walking distance of many key players in the region's business, emerging company and venture capital communities, as well as mass transportation and the University Avenue corridor.
