Private Equity Pro Ariel Yehezkel Joins Sheppard Mullin New York

Ariel Yehezkel has joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP as a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice group, based in the firm's New York office.  Yehezkel joins from Kirkland & Ellis.

Yehezkel concentrates his transactional practice on mergers and acquisitions where he represents private equity funds and private and public companies in a wide variety of domestic and cross-border business transactions including mergers, leveraged acquisitions, follow on acquisitions, divestitures, debt financing, fund formation, PIPE investments, joint ventures, minority investments and other equity arrangements.  He has advised clients on a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions transactions and other corporate matters. 

Yehezkel received a J.S.D. from University of Illinois College of Law in 2005 and a LL.M. from University of Michigan Law School in 2003. 

Sheppard Mullin has 60 attorneys based in its New York office.  The firm's Corporate practice group includes more than 135 attorneys firmwide. 

Also today, David Almeida joined Sheppard Mullin as a partner in the firm's Chicago office, as a member of the Business Trial practice group and Privacy and Data Security practice.  Almeida most recently practiced at Sedgwick, where he was co-chair of that firm’s Privacy and Data Protection Group. 

In April, John Hempill joined Sheppard Mullin as a partner in the Corporate practice group in the firm’s New York office.  Hempill joined Sheppard Mullin from Morrison Foerster, where he was a former co-chair of the Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group.
