Robert A. Sanders

Robert Sanders is special counsel in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Los Angeles office.

Areas of Practice

Rob has represented insurance companies in insurance-related litigation for nearly 20 years. His practice focuses on complex coverage litigation and high exposure bad faith cases involving various personal and commercial lines insurance policies. Rob also has experience handling other civil litigation cases involving employment discrimination, wrongful termination, contract disputes, fraud, intentional and negligent misrepresentations, and breach of fiduciary duties. He is admitted to practice in all state courts in California and Ohio, and the Federal District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California.

Rob also serves as coverage counsel in complex coverage matters. He provides claims counseling and coverage advice to carriers for pre-litigation and non-litigation matters arising out of complex lawsuits and large claims. Rob’s experience has ranged broadly from analyzing coverage issues to assisting clients with the analysis of complex liability claims, drafting coverage opinions, and writing coverage position letters.
