Tifenn Drouaud is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's Washington, D.C. office.
Areas of Practice
Tifenn represents clients in complex business matters in both domestic arbitration and traditional litigation in state and federal courts. She has experience litigating claims involving breach of contract, defamation, administrative APA claims, various torts, and healthcare provider-payor disputes. She has assisted in numerous appellate cases, including challenging arbitrary and capricious agency decisions regarding governmental healthcare programs.
Tifenn is likewise committed to representing and working with her pro bono clients. She works on case administration evaluations for the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project, which represents convicted individuals, both incarcerated and not, with claims of innocence. She represented an environmental organization in a number of federal court actions arising under the Endangered Species Act and the Administrative Procedure Act, and continues to represent them now, advocating for regulatory protections for other endangered species. She has also assisted with a long-term affirmative asylum dossier, seeking to obtain asylum for her client.
