Billboard Selects Alexis Robinson and Daniel Schnapp As 2023 “Top Music Lawyers”
Alexis Robinson and Daniel Schnapp were named among Billboard’s 2023 list of “Top Music Lawyers.” According to Billboard, the annual list highlights a class of attorneys that serve as an essential resource for the music industry’s rising artists, songwriters and superstars.
Billboard highlighted the pair for their visibility in the music industry on behalf of clients such as Spotify; ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers); Sony Pictures Television; Peloton; Bytedance/Tik-Tok; Vevo; Steinway Musical Instruments; music discovery platform Triller; Bandsintown; NFT platform Async Art; and Domain Capital Group.
Billboard also highlighted a series of complex deals the two led for Domain Capital Group, which involved music catalog acquisitions of some of the world’s most prolific artists, as well as their representation of Sony Pictures Television in its acquisition of Industrial Media, an independent nonfiction production company and owner of popular television reality series “American Idol” and “So You Think You Can Dance.”
