Adam Streisand and Polly Towill Named Among the 2023 Top Litigators and Trial Attorneys in Los Angeles
Litigation partner Polly Towill and Adam Streisand, leader of Sheppard Mullin’s Private Wealth and Fiduciary Litigation team, have been named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2023 “Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys.” The annual list recognizes "the very best litigators and trial attorneys in the region" and "trusted advisors you want in your corner in court," according to the publication.
Towill was noted for winning “a decision from a FINRA arbitration panel finding that securities trader Scott Reynolds was liable for intentional misconduct in connection with a short-selling scheme that caused client Axos Clearing more than $16 million in losses in a single day. The panel found entirely for Axos Clearing, ordering Reynolds to pay Axos more than $17.8 million in damages and interest.”
His fourth time being selected to this list, Streisand was highlighted for his “sweeping victories in high-profile courtroom battles involving celebrity estates,” and his abilities as “the go-to trial lawyer whenever the fate of a national sports franchise is on the line, including trust wars over control of the LA Lakers, LA Clippers, LA Chargers and Baltimore Orioles.”
