The National Law Journal has named Pro Bono Partner Daniel Brown a 2023 "Class Action/ Mass Tort Litigation Trailblazer." The list honors legal professionals “who have made significant marks on the practice, policy and technological advancements in their sector.”

Dan is lauded for his pro bono efforts in two class action cases that resulted in making New York City’s subway system accessible to people who cannot use stairs – an endeavor that began even prior to the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

“The lawsuits have achieved dramatic change – a subway system in which at least 95% of the stations will be accessible…which will make New York City a better place to live and visit for hundreds of thousands of people with disabilities, as well as the elderly and people with strollers, luggage, or delivering packages.”

You can view Dan's profile in the National Law Journal’s Trailblazers special 2023 edition.
