San Diego Business Journal Selects Marisa Miller as a 2024 “Woman of Influence in Construction”
Marisa Miller, the office managing partner of Sheppard Mullin’s Del Mar office was selected to San Diego Business Journal’s 2024 “Women of Influence in Construction” list, which annually recognizes and celebrates the 50 most influential women leaders in the construction industry.
Marisa’s profile, published in a special edition of the San Diego Business Journal, highlighted her robust construction litigation practice, including two disputes – worth $40 million and $20 million respectively – that she is currently handling on behalf of her construction clients. SDBJ pointed out Marisa’s commitment to pro bono work and volunteer service, specifically, her involvement with Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County (BBBS of SDC). In January 2024, Marisa was named Board Vice Chair of the organization and she was recently awarded “Board Member of the Year” in recognition of her fundraising efforts and pro bono support.
