Healthcare Partners Carolyn Metnick and Sara Shanti Named Among Chicago’s Notable Leaders in Health Care Technology
Healthcare Partners Carolyn Metnick and Sara Shanti were named among Crain’s Chicago Business’ inaugural list of Notable Leaders in Health Care Technology. The feature highlights 27 leaders that are “developing and deploying technologies that support hospitals, payers and providers while improving outcomes for patients nationwide,” according to the publication.
Metnick was recognized as a leading voice on AI in healthcare. She advises healthcare providers, tech companies and other organizations on regulatory compliance affecting digital health models. She founded and leads the firm’s Healthy AI initiative, which counsels stakeholders on AI implementation, liability and regulatory issues.
Shanti advises clients on health-tech innovations, including AI, augmented and virtual reality, gamification, implantable and wearable devices and telehealth. She co-leads the firm’s Digital Health & Innovation Team and co-hosts its “Health-e Law” podcast. Crain’s highlighted Shanti’s work representing a New York nonprofit in the implementation of a health information platform that will use ethically sourced data to improve patent care.
