Michael Roth and Doug Yeager Selected to 2025 Lawyers in Real Estate List
Real Estate, Energy, Land Use and Environmental Partners Michael Roth and Doug Yeager were selected by Connect CRE for its 2025 Lawyers in Real Estate Awards in the Chicago & Midwest and Texas regions. The annual awards recognize attorneys from across the country that excel in their practices and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Roth, based in Chicago, represents clients in the acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of major projects throughout the U.S., with a focus on hospitality projects. He was noted for closing a refinancing loan for the Godfrey Hotel in Detroit and for representing Michigan Cermak Indiana LLC in a mortgage loan refinance with Access Point Financial for a hotel tower adjacent to Chicago’s McCormick Place convention center.
Yeager, based in the firm’s Houston office, advises some of the country’s largest and most sophisticated players in the commercial real estate industry. ConnectCRE highlighted his recent representation of Stonelake Capital Partners in its $428 million sale of 53 industrial properties to Brookfield Asset Management and its $124-million sale of a Texas-based industrial portfolio to Invesco Advisors, Inc.
