In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission announced an expedited process for companies seeking antitrust guidance while reiterating their intention to pursue civil violations of the antitrust laws. Several state Attorney Generals have reiterated their intentions to prosecute price gougers and have sought assistance from online platforms.
