Webinar
11.20.2019

As part of the 2020 Federal Budget proposal, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador presented a comprehensive tax reform to the Mexican Congress which broadens the scope of activities subject to tax, and reporting obligations of Mexican and foreign taxpayers.

The changes for the proposed 2020 tax reform cover the Mexican Income Tax Law (MITL), the Value Added Tax Law (VATL), and the Federal Tax Code (FTC). The Mexican Congress passed the reform and it will become effective as of January 1, 2020.

This program will focus on the changes and the potential impact that this reform may have on Mexican taxpayers with assets outside Mexico and foreign companies with Mexican investments or operations.
