One of the hottest current retail trends is buying and reselling used goods—recommerce. As customers seek out value and try to lower their environmental impact, retailers are responding. We will dive into the legal and compliance issues that any company launching a recommerce program should tackle. Some of the issues we’ll cover include: second hand dealer rules; advertising substantiation, especially for environmental claims; trademark usage; and authenticity and stolen goods.
