According to a recent report by PWC, global healthcare M&A deal volume increased by 32% between 2020 and 2021 and deal values increased by 65% during the same period. The interest in healthcare M&A is perhaps not surprising, given a number of factors, including the fact that healthcare spending accounted for nearly 20% of US GDP in 2020.
