Julia Anderson is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's San Francisco office and a member of the firm’s Food and Beverage, Construction, and Cannabis Industry Teams.

Areas of Practice

Julia is deeply committed to pro bono work. During law school, she represented a number of Afghan asylum-seekers, helping secure asylum for several of her clients, and graduating with Pro Bono Distinction.

Before joining Sheppard Mullin, Julia earned her J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where she served as Chief Digital Editor for the Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs and served as Co-Chair of If/When/How, a reproductive justice organization. Prior to law school and after earning her B.A. in History and English from Arizona State University, Barrett, The Honors College, Julia earned a Fulbright Grant to teach in South Korea.
