Prominent White-Collar Attorney Bill Mateja Takes Helm Of Dallas Bar Association

The Texas Lawbook profiled Sheppard Mullin partner Bill Mateja about his plans for the Dallas Bar Association as its new president for 2024.
Mateja, a partner in the Governmental practice group, whose practice focuses on white collar defense and corporate investigations, told The Texas Lawbook that his focus will include encouraging bar members to “get back” to the Dallas Bar’s Arts District Mansion headquarters to resume in-person networking, educational and social opportunities. “Our Bar isn’t as interconnected as it once was, and I want to stem this shift,” he said.
The interview also detailed Mateja’s career of service to the bar, including serving as the president of the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
