Andrew Bond Strengthens Cross-Border Corporate Practice

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew J. “The capital markets are very active and adding Andrew will further strengthen our considerable capabilities in that space,” said Sheppard Mullin vice chairman Jon Newby. “Andrew is a welcome addition to the group as he has an impressive background in sophisticated capital-raising transactions that will benefit our clients significantly.”

Linda Michaelson, leader of the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice group, added, “We are excited for Andrew to join our team.  His cross-border securities law experience is especially relevant given our numerous global clients. His background and work in Canada will be of particular interest to a number of our domestic clients.  Andrew also brings depth in the life sciences industry, adding industry expertise as well to our life sciences corporate practice.”

He also advises Canadian clients on the listing requirements on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and the platforms operated by the OTC Markets Group.  He previously practiced in Canada, where he advised both U.S. and Canadian issuers on registered securities offerings, private placements, and Securities Exchange Act compliance.
