Shizuo Arima is an associate in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's New York office. 

Professional and Educational Background

Shizuo attended Emory University School of Law, graduated with honors, and was Editor-in-Chief of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal. During law school, Shizuo externed for two Northern District of Georgia bankruptcy judges: Judge Wendy L. Hagenau and Judge Paul M. Baisier. Before joining Sheppard Mullin, Shizuo completed a one-year clerkship in Judge Jeffery W. Cavender’s chambers in the same court. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Covenant College where he played basketball and baseball.
