Nathan represents clients in federal and state courts, in non-judicial proceedings such as mediation and arbitration, and before administrative agencies, including the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. In those forums, Nathan defends a variety of actions, ranging from single plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims to wage and hour class and representative actions. His litigation successes include obtaining an arbitration defense award in favor of a global technology company and achieving summary judgment on behalf of several clients.
In addition to litigating claims, Nathan advises employers on workplace issues, including reasonable accommodation, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, and employee discipline and termination.
While attending law school, Nathan was a member of the William & Mary Law Review. He served as vice president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and experienced success at national arbitration, mediation, and negotiation competitions. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys traveling and training and competing in Brazilian jiu jitsu.
