Amanda Witt is an associate in the Business Trial Practice group in the firm's Chicago office.
Areas of Practice
Amanda represents clients in complex commercial litigation, with experience litigating breach of contract, fraud and negligent misrepresentation, and tort claims. She has represented clients before various state and federal trial and appellate courts, arbitral bodies, and federal and state agencies in matters ranging from telecommunications to healthcare. Amanda also advises cable operators and broadband providers in disputes involving franchise fees, pole attachments, and licensing and enforcement, and counsels clients on regulatory compliance with FCC and other federal and state regulations.
Amanda is also committed to her pro bono practice. She has successfully represented clients seeking asylum in the United States in partnership with Human Rights First, and has helped clients resolve issues involving housing, outstanding FOIA requests, and employment.
