Areas of Practice
Fred works on a range of intellectual property matters, including litigation, patent prosecution, licensing and IP counseling. Building on a multidisciplinary background, his practice touches on a wide range of technologies including: web services, AR/VR, multimedia streaming, cloud services, smartphone apps and medical devices.
Prior to attending law school, Fred gained experience as a Field Application Engineer with a fabless semiconductor company helping clients develop various embedded devices (e.g., mobile phones, karaoke systems, DECT phones, smart appliances), before launching a startup that developed DSP solutions for the musical instruments and audio equipment industry.
