Daily Dicta: Sheppard Mullin Goes Fishing for Justice

The American Lawyer published a detailed article regarding a closely watched pro bono case. In the article, editor Jenna Greene noted:  

"On Wednesday, litigators at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton working pro bono sued the EPA in Anchorage, Alaska federal court on behalf of nonprofit Trout Unlimited, challenging a move that opens the door to mining in Alaska’s Bristol Bay watershed.”

'One does not need to be an environmental or policy expert to know this proposed mining operation in the Bristol Bay watershed is a terrible idea,' wrote litigators from Sheppard Mullin.
