Sheppard Mullin Names San Diego Area Partners To Lead Firm's Real Estate And White Collar Crime Practices

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is pleased to announce that Domenic Drago, managing partner of the Del Mar Heights office, has been appointed the new chair of the firm's Real Estate/Land Use & Natural Resources/Environmental Practice Group. Bob Rose, based in the San Diego office, has been named as chair of the firm's White Collar Crime/Civil Fraud Practice Group.

In addition to being a former federal prosecutor, Bob has strong and varied white collar criminal defense and civil fraud litigation experience and oversees litigators on both coasts," said Guy Halgren, chairman of the firm.

Drago's practice includes a wide variety of business transactions. He has extensive experience in real property purchase and sale, leasing and finance transactions. He represents owners and developers of residential subdivisions, shopping centers, hotels and commercial and industrial office buildings. He also represents clients in stock purchase and sale transactions and matters involving the purchase and sale of business assets. Drago received his JD from University of California, Hastings in 1984 and his undergraduate degree from University of California, Los Angeles in 1981.

Rose has extensive experience in criminal defense, securities fraud, class actions and derivative suits, and business litigation before federal and state courts. As a defense attorney, he represents clients with criminal and civil exposure from governmental inquiries. He represents targets, witnesses, stock issuers, and professionals in pre filing investigations conducted by securities regulators, as well as in filed actions, and has served as counsel and a panelist in NASD arbitrations. Rose received his law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1974 and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1971.
