Yu Pan is a patent agent in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm's San Diego (Del Mar) office.
Areas of Practice
Yu assists attorneys in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications with a focus in the areas of life science, chemical and pharmaceutical science. Her experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications covering bio-tech, chemicals (such as polymers, inorganics, pharmaceutical compositions), medical devices, nanotechnology and fuel cells.
Yu is an advocate for invention, as well as an inventor herself, having developed a diagnostic method for a veterinary bacterial pathogen.
