Michael C. Krill

Michael Krill is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm's Houston office.

Areas of Practice

Michael focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, including patent litigation, inter partes review proceedings, trade secret litigation, and copyright litigation.  Michael assists both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation matters involving a wide range of complex technologies in various industries, including oil & gas (downstream and midstream), software, banking, transportation, and electronic devices.

Michael has significant courtroom and trial experience in all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, discovery, dispositive motions, trials, and appeals.  Michael has taken and defended numerous depositions, argued case-dispositive motions in federal court, and cross-examined witnesses at trial.  Michael has also drafted a variety of critical briefs, including numerous successful summary judgment motions.

Michael is committed to pro bono service.  He has obtained asylum for political refugees and domestic violence victims, defended the rights of disabled students, and assisted military veterans in various family and estate planning matters.
