Sheppard Mullin Represents ICM Partners in Acquisition by Creative Artists Agency

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP represented ICM Partners, one of the world’s premier entertainment and sports agencies, in its acquisition by Creative Artists Agency (CAA). The merger of the firms will leave three major talent firms — CCA, UTA and WME — representing the bulk of deal-making for the entertainment industry. Terms of the deal were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close later this year.
The Sheppard Mullin team was led by partner David Sands and included partners Keith Gercken, and Dmitriy Chelnitsky; and associates Aerin Snow, Bobby Chipman, Jay Lee, Matthew Pangle, and Betsy Luxenberg.
