Sheppard Mullin Represents Prospect Medical Holdings in Signing of Agreement to Sell Two Connecticut Health Systems to Yale New Haven Health
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP represented Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc. in the signing of an agreement to sell two Connecticut health systems to Yale New Haven Health (YNHHS), including the health systems’ related businesses, real estate assets, physician clinic operations and outpatient services, subject to customary regulatory approvals. Under the Letter of Intent, YNHHS is to purchase the assets and operations associated with the following hospitals:
- Waterbury Hospital in Waterbury, CT;
- Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, CT; and
- Rockville General Hospital in Vernon, CT.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Sheppard Mullin team was led by partners Eric Klein and Nioura Ghazni, with the support of partners John Carroll, Amanda Zablocki, Phil Kim, Keahn Morris, Babak Yousefzadeh and Josh McLane, and associates Ryan Portugal and Carter Gage.
