Sheppard Mullin Represents Quixote Studios in $360 Million Sale to Hudson Pacific Properties, Inc.
Sheppard Mullin advised Quixote Studios LLC (“Quixote”), a leading provider of sound stages and production services to the entertainment industry, in its acquisition by Hudson Pacific Properties, Inc., a unique provider of end-to-end real estate solutions for tech and media tenants, for $360 million.
Since its inception in 1995, Quixote has become one of the industry’s most recognized brands, supporting a wide range of high-quality productions and short-form content though its sound stages, cast trailers, trucks and specialized vehicles in addition to one of the largest inventory of grip and lighting production equipment.
The deal team was led by David Sands, Edward Xia and Laura Baptista. Real estate aspects of the transaction were led by Rabia Chaudhry and the financing aspects were led by Kyle Mathews. Special assistance was provided by Joshua Block, Leo Caseria, Dmitriy Chelnitsky, John Crisp, Frank Dworak, Michael Leake and Steve O’Neil.
